Class Prefects

Prefects are appointed only for all classes. They are appointed by their class and are expected to behaviour in a mature and responsible way.  As Class Leaders they represent their class and often bring opinions and recommendations to the student council for deliberation.  Appointments are normally for the duration of the School Year.. Prefects are ambassadors for the school. Their function is to represent the student cohort at both in school and out of school functions.

A Prefect is expected to give good example in class and around the school with regard to school rules, behaviour, punctuality, uniform, etc.

The Prefect develops a relationship with the class and acts as liaison between the class tutor and the class.  They also play an important role, particularly in the junior classes helping students to settle in and bringing any issues that need to be addressed to the attention of the class tutor.
