Successful TY Coaches
2nd April 2016
Transition Year students have been busy over the last term enhancing their leadership and coaching skills on the playing field. Under the tutelage PE teacher, Ms Harrison, the students students went through an intensive coaching programme which built on their understanding of rugby. The College also provided external coaches and experts to help the students perfect their coaching skills.
Along with gaining a better understanding of the sport, the students also enhanced their skills as communicators and leaders when their put their work into action at a range of local primary schools. The sessions were a huge success and enjoyed by both the coaches and the players at the primary schools. Well done to all who participated!
