Jersey Day

27th September 2017

As part of the Junior Cert curriculum and more specifically, CSPE, some of the third year students have been learning about the issue of homelessness in our society. They are organising a visit to the school by a representative of the Peter McVerry Trust, to learn more about their work.

On Thursday the 28th of September, the students are running a jersey day in aid of the Trust. All students in the school are asked to wear a jersey, and donate €2 to the charity.

Please show your support by wearing your colours, be it GAA, soccer, rugby or any other sports jersey. Normal school uniform rules will apply to those who do not wish to take part. Those wearing jerseys are asked to wear their normal uniform trousers and shoes.

For more information on our chosen charity, follow this link: https://www.pmvtrust.ie/

Enjoy the day!
